Over a period of 6 weeks, we will immerse ourselves in the story of a Persian refugee, named Khosrou. We will see what he sees. We will hear what he hears. We will feel what he feels. And as we spend time with someone on the “margins” of society, we will pay attention. Because spending time with others can open our eyes and ears and hearts in ways that also - mysteriously - open us to the redemptive work of God.

Join us on a trip to the English countryside as we watch Jane Austen's classic Pride & Prejudice together. We will meet witty Elizabeth, looming Darcy, dreary Collins, compliant Jane, and judgmental Lady Catherine de Bourgh, just to name a few. If you'd like, bring a sweet or savory snack to share.

Because sometimes when we think in terms of spiritual growth, we think in very narrow terms, but if God created a world that is good and true and imbued with meaning, then we can encounter Him in a variety of ways. One of those ways is through our imaginations. Fiction sparks our imaginations because it immerses us in an experience that mirrors reality and can often tell us the truth in a way that nonfiction cannot…

Ladies! Come out Wednesday, September 8th, from 6:30-8pm for a night of reflection and celebration. There have been lots of ups and downs this last year which we want to acknowledge. We also just want to spend time together because we need each other.
*The gathering will be held outdoors in Serra Mesa and masks are not required, but please feel free to wear one if it makes you more comfortable. Dessert and drinks will be served, but are optional.

Women’s Bible Study is an online gathering of women seeking to know and follow God. Some are skeptics and others longtime followers. This is a safe place for all to wrestle with questions of faith.
